APPLICATION INFORMATION
 
  SELECTION CRITERIA
  Our Foundation looks to support a diverse range of students who have been traditionally underrepresented in study abroad, including but not limited to students:
   
  with financial need
  interested in studying in diverse countries
  interested in study programs that emphasize cultural immersion
  displaying accomplishments that indicate leadership, character, integrity and motivation
   
  ELIGIBILITY
  The Applicant must be pursuing a study abroad program that has a focus on international business
  The Applicant must be applying to or been accepted into a study abroad program eligible for credit by
    the student's home institution
  The Applicant must be a United States Citizen
   
  HOW APPLICATIONS ARE JUDGED
  The selection criteria for the John T. Petters Scholarship reflect its core values. All applications are reviewed in their entirety.
     
  Financial Need
  Extra attention is shown to applicants who demonstrate high need, including
working students, students taking on loans, and students with low family income
  Personal Essay
  Academic Performance (official transcript)
  Faculty/Adviser Recommendations
  Study Program
  Extra attention shown to programs over three weeks in length and programs that focus on cultural emersion
