There are many ways to give to the John T. Petters Foundation. Checks are always welcomed and for your convenience, automatic monthly donations can be made. Donations can be charged too. Please download the donation form and fax it to the Foundation Administrator at 952-936-0535.
 
Now you can make a donation online! All it takes to make the difference in the life of a bright, young student is a couple of clicks of the mouse. Click here to donate online.
 
You may want to see if your company offers a matching gift program in order to maximize your gift.
 
In addition there are may other ways to reach your charitable goals and achieve greater tax benefits, including gifting securities or naming the Foundation as a beneficiary of your estate. Please contact Cameron Codilis at 800-532-1407.

Federal Income Tax Exemption
 
 

The John T. Petters Foundation is a private foundation that has received a determination of exemption from federal income tax as an organization defined under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Contributions to the John T. Petters Foundation are generally deductible for income tax purposes under section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code, but my be subject to certain percentage limitations. Therefore, please confer with your accountant or another tax professional before claiming this donation as an income tax deduction.
